My name is Rocco. I'm a 2 year old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix . I weigh 10# but should be around 8#. My foster mom seems to think I'm house trained but it is possible I could have mistakes in a new environment.. I'm also kinda crate trained meaning I will stay in one but I really don't like to. I will sometimes get anxious and scratch and whine while in my crate. With my previous owner I wasn't socialized very much at all, so I might be a bit shy at first. It took me a whole day before I finally decided to go to my foster mom or to start playing with my K9 foster brothers and sisters. Since then I've become a total love-bug who will sit in your lap and give lots of kisses. I'm not sure how I would do around big dogs, cats, or kids. I don't really bark a lot unless I see people out the window. I do walk good on a leash but a FENCED IN YARD IS A MUST because if I get loose I tend to go off and do my own thing ignoring your call for me to come back to you most of the time. Rocco is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, and neutered. Rocco’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org
