Turtle's Story...
Bear and Turtle are Morkie brothers who were surrendered to us when their family could no longer keep them! Bear is the larger of the 2 and he weighs 13 lbs! Turtle is the one with the yorkie ears and he weighs 9lbs! They are 1 year old and very sweet! They came to us full of fleas, ticks and mats. Unfortunately, they had been outdoors for awhile do to family circumstances! They are slightly timid and Turtle is a little worse than Bear! They are great little dogs and love people and other animals! They will be started on house and kennel training! They are utd, heartworm negative (tested below detectable levels) and neutered!

THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER!!!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turtle, a Grand Bay Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
