Bussie (Buster)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bussie (Buster)'s Story...
2 year old Bussie (Buster) is an absolute workaholic of a Saint! He LOVES to keep busy and be challenged! He's NOT your typical laid-back, couch potato, Saint,. He has been professionally trained and is awesome! We would love to find a home for him that will continue working on his obedience commands (his trainer is in Oceanside and is very accommodating in sharing what she has taught him) and if you have ever wanted to do search/rescue, nose work or agility with a Saint Bernard, Bussie would be PERFECT for those type activities since he's just that kind of an active, trainable guy! He is great with other dogs, loves all people, he grew up with 5 children in the home and is good with all kids too. He will chase cats, so a home without cats would be best. We want to make sure this boy goes to the right home that will keep his body and mind fully engaged so that he can continue to shine! If you feel you are the perfect match for Bussie, please fill out and submit an adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bussie (Buster), a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
