BOOMERANG's Story...
MEET BOOMERANG! This handsome little Red Spotted Australian Cattle dog is looking for a best friend! He loves attention and likes to spend time with his special person! He was surrendered to the shelter when his owner died and is getting lonely! BOOMERANG loves to go for walks and is great on a leash! He is smaller, about 40 to 45 pounds, and has a beautiful coat! Because of his breed we do not recommend small children. They tend to get herded. BOOMERANG is fully vetted and he has the option to be put through our PAWS BEHIND BARS prison training program. We would not recommend him with cats or around chickens. If you'd like to meet this charmer, please contact Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue at email: adoptmebpr@aol.com or phone 502-777-1442

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOOMERANG, a LaGrange Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
