Hagen's Story...
Hagen
1 year old
Have you been wanting a pony? Well we have the next best thing. Sweet Hagen was signed over to our shelter when he didn’t know his own size and kept stepping on the little dog in the house. His previous owner did let us know that he has been housebroken, loves children, knows several basic commands and though he loves cats and little dogs he may do best in a home with other big dogs so he doesn’t step on them. Hagen is just a gentle giant who loves attention and occasionally forgets that he isn’t a lap dog. He has that sweet and easy going personality that would make it easy fit into any kind of forever family. He is just a big handsome sweet heart looking for a family to call his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hagen, a Fruit Heights Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
