Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a very energetic 3 ½ year old JRT. He loves attention and would gladly run after his beloved tennis balls all day if you let him. When he isn’t playing, Buddy will gladly snuggle up beside you or burrow under a blanket to sleep the day away with you. We are looking for a home for Buddy where he is not left alone all day and has the attention he deserves. We took Buddy after his previous owner passed away thinking we were doing the right thing; however, not knowing much about the breed, we find that he is just too much for us to handle. This sweet fellow was found as a tiny puppy on the side of the road in Florida and had to endure a 14-hour car ride to Maryland through his favorite, thunderstorms (NOT)! Buddy has some minor anxiety but with the right kind of owner who knows the breed we're sure those issues can be overcome. Buddy is healthy and he is up-to-date on all shots. When off-leash, Buddy has done well with other dogs. On-leash, he can be a bit protective of his people. Buddy is currently located in MD and if you would like to be his forever family, please contact Annette at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Blue Bell Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Blue Bell, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Blue Bell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blue Bell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blue Bell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blue Bell paves the way for another one to be saved.
