Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is a very sweet friendly American Eskimo. She is easily trained because she really loves treats. Penny is very fast and loves to run, she'd love a fenced in yard or plan for daily exercise. American Eskimo dogs are smart and need daily attention and playtime or mental stimulation. She gets along great with other dogs. She's a bit timid with new people at first but is easily won over with treats and a belly rub.
We estimate Penny is 5 years old or so, she is about 20 pounds.
Penny is fully vetted including spayed, current on vaccinations, heart-worm and fecal tested, and micro-chipped.
She is kept on monthly flea/tick preventative and heart-worm preventative. The adoption fee for Penny is $350. Adoption fees from popular dogs like Penny help us help senior dogs, less popular breeds, and dogs with medical issues.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
