Shiloh's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shiloh's Story...
This is our sweet little Shiloh. He was dumped off at the high kill shelter because his owners just didn't want to be bothered by a dog any longer. When we saw his sad face we just had to get him out of there. He has been such a joy to have here at the rescue He gets along nicely with everyone including our pesky Chihuahuas! We are truly unsure of his age as one vet said he was 3 and another said he was maybe 8. He has no signs of age what so ever so we are just calling him middle aged! He is neutered, micro-chipped, house broken, crate trained, heart worm negative and up to date on all of his shots. Loves his belly rubs and loves to cuddle. Are you ready for this precious little boy? His adoption fee is $400

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Salem Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Salem, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
