Ace's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ace's Story...
Ace is a two year old wiener dog/yorkie mix. He has one blue eye and one brown one. He's good with small dogs, but we don't know how he is with big dogs or cats. He's great with kids, knows basic commands, but isn't fully house broke. If you take him out regularly he's fine, but he won't let you know on his own when he has to go. He's a barker and gets excited easily. He's not much of a toy dog but he loves treats.

Ace is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, treated with dewormer and flea and heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Flushing Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
