Hola! My name is Salem, and I am a member of the "black cats with white bibs" organization. I prefer to think of myself, however, as the manager of a sub division of the club where I am the solo participant. From my perspective, the presence of other felines adds to the chaos of this world which makes it even harder to process all the activity. When too many events occur at once, I become overwhelmed, which leads to mood swings. Believe me, those are just as unpleasant for the felines afflicted as they are for the feline witnesses. Young children overwhelm me as well, but I love the calm nature of adults and older kids. Tranquil energy is my type of massage, and I hope that my ideal environment soon becomes my reality. I will still be moody at times during my adjustment period, but it's nothing a few toys can't solve. Your patience and understanding will result in plenty of back rubs as I stroll behind you.
