Bud **Red Heeler**'s Story...
Bud

Sweet, neutered Red Heeler mix.

Young- 10 months old.

Bud loves to play with the other dogs here. He is very friendly with them.

He is good with everyone he meets. He likes kids too. He is pretty active and will need some basic obedience including some leash training.

We have crate trained Bud and he does very well with that. He is also a good eater and he eats all of his dinner right up. Bud is not food aggressive with other dogs or humans.

He is a nice fella and will make an excellent companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bud **Red Heeler**, a Salamanca Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Salamanca, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Salamanca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salamanca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salamanca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salamanca paves the way for another one to be saved.
