Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CLYDE - 9 year old male Golden Retriever - "Clyde must have a fenced yard" Clyde is one of those dogs who likes the simple life; people to pet him, a bed to sleep on and he's happy. He was a jogger in his day but is slowing down a bit now and is content to hang around the house. Clyde has great house manners, even goes to his bed when told, and knows basic obedience. Being eager to please and highly food motivated Clyde is a quick study too. You will always know when someone is at the door as he is a great alert dog too. Clyde has never lived with other dogs but seems to enjoy their company, he will need to be introduced to know for sure if he'll be a match with a canine companion though. He has always been an only dog and has never had to share before. Clyde does live with two cats and is excellent with them, even shares his bed! Clyde requires an adult only home and a physical fence, but other than that his needs are simple - food, water, lots of pets and lots of love! If you are interested in meeting Clyde please fill out an adoption application through Peppertree Rescue
** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
