My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAGGIE - 5 year old female pit bull - 55 lb - Are you a runner or an athlete looking for a training partner? Do you have an active family? Maggie is a beautiful 5 year old pit bull currently living in the Albany area. She is housebroken, crate trained, and treadmill trained. She is excellent on a leash, especially when going out for runs, which she loves all year long. Her favorite activities include playing hide and seek with her ball, and playing fetch especially with a frisbee. Maggie learns quickly and has amazing focus, especially when treats are involved. She is very intelligent and athletic, and would do best in an active household. Because she can be boisterous and get very excited, Maggie should not be placed in a home with small children. Maggie is selective about living with and meeting other dogs, and should be cat tested. She absolutely loves people and can't help herself when it comes to giving lots of kisses. Maggie loves to end her day with lots of snuggles and is great at hogging the blankets. Interested adopters should complete the adoption application on http://www.peppertree.org or http://outofthepits.org.

** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
