Uggs's Story...
Uggs is a delightful 5-7 year old brown neutered male Pug/Boxer mix who was discarded at the Baldwin Park Shelter on October 17th because his former owners moved and were either too lazy or too inconsiderate to find a safe place for their pet. Weighing forty-five pounds, Uggs has a medium energy level, walks well on leash and is housebroken. We rescued him and gave him a dental and removed the mass under his eye. He is healthy.
He has a true loving personality. He craves the companionship of people and is non-reactive to other dogs. Uggs is a wonderful indoor pet for a family or individual living in a private home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uggs, a Huntington Beach Pug/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Boxer for sale in Huntington Beach, or seeking a Pug/Boxer dog from a breeder in Huntington Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Boxer breeders who help with Pug/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
