Edgar Allen is a very sweet dog. He is quite upset at his new shelter environment and is howling a lot but as soon as he is permitted to come outside or even just to lay in his bed, he is content and quiet. Edgar walks well on a leash and is very affectionate. He does well with our other dog-friendly dogs and seems overall to be mellow.

The PALS shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
