Thor's Story...
Whosoever holds this kitten, if they be worthy, will hold all the power of Thor! Midgard is a great place to visit! There are TV shows and pop tarts, and best of all really cool humans who, while very interesting, are also very tiny! Have care how you hold me, for I am a prince of Asgard! A little support will go a long way to helping me feel comfortable. Like all good Norse deities, I enjoy a mighty romp to get the blood pumping! Playtime is paramount to me, and I would have my human companions join me in a spirited jaunt. But lo! Why not fill out yonder adoption application? I cannot join you on your journey home without it! Are you ready for mighty fun? Come meet Thor!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Harrisonburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
