Can you get me out of jail? I promise I am innocent! I should be innocent until proven guilty, right?
Hello there! I am Lucky - you can also call me Mr. Beagle(or Mr. B), but you can name me whatever you want as long as you will love me. I was half serious. I am just trying to get your attention. I do get out of my cell a few times a day like any prisoner.
Anyway, I was born in Kentuuucky. I am about 12 months old Beagle mix. I am up to date on vaccines and neutered. I am healthy & fit and I love your attention. I love to be with you, play, walk and sniff, run or hike. I am also very funny playing alone. I love to play with my toys! I am still acting like a baby sometimes, but I can also act mature. And I am very much attached to my human foster parent or any human that gives me attention. A rescue organization got me out of my jail cell in Kentucky. I am good with other dogs and adults, but I may be protective of my food. I like to play with some of the other dogs at my foster home, but I am really looking for a permanent home and parents that will love me for the rest of my life. I do get along with other dogs, but if you have other dogs I need to be fed separately for now as I am protective of my food. I will even snap at them. I know that people are those that are providing me with the food and water so I admire them. But other dogs need to stay away from my food! You can understand that in the Kentucky jail I did not get the best food, so when I get good food now it is mine and only mine! So I protect it! And I eat a lot because I do not know if I will have to go hungry again somewhere in the woods. Nobody explain to me in a dog language that I am safe now and I will get my forever home. I do not understand it just like I did not understand why my first owner threw me away like a toy. I take care of my own toys and I think I treat them better than they treated me!
I like to pull on a leash because I want to smell everything! However, it is more important for me to be near you when you give me attention. It means the world to me. I can be at home in a crate for a long time, but I much prefer to be with humans all the time. I may be still a little scared that I will be given up or abandoned again. I hope you can give me a loving home where I can feel safe. Will you give me love and care? Will you be my fur-ever family? In return, I will give you my unconditional love and follow you everywhere (except when I smell a new yard or a new place). I am really a good boy and I do deserve to be loved and I want to love you in return, don’t you think I am handsome enough? And I do have a very good lovable personality, I just need to feel home again. Will you give me my new home for the rest of my life? Thank you, thank you, and thank you! I already feel I have a better chance at life!
