SHEA's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

SHEA's Story...
Shea is a wonderful little girl, under 1 year old and 30lbs. She shouldn't get much or any larger. She is sweet, well behaved, housebroken and playful. Although she likes kids, kids 9 or over will be best. Shea was found abandoned with stitches from her spay and for 4 days until a good Samaritan rescued her. We are looking for a great forever home or long term foster until we can find her the right home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHEA, a Homestead American Bulldog/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Homestead, or seeking a American Bulldog/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
