Juliet's Story...
Juliet was born outside in a condo development in Telford where a kind woman fed her and her family. Tragically their outdoor living situation became very dangerous because the condo association threatened to fine their caretaker for feeding them and a neighbor threatened to poison them. Their foster mom rescued them and brought them indoors. The kittens were born in May 2016.

Juliet is very sweet but is understandably shy and cautious with new people. Because she lived outdoors and only interacted with her caretaker, she needs some time to adjust to new people and situations.

Routine, good food, patience, and a gentle voice and hand are the keys to earning her trust, and once she bonds to her new family, she will be fiercely loyal and loving. Juliet, who is the most petite and ladlylike of the kittens, likes to get up high in the cat tree and survey her domain. She is also happy to come close to their foster mom for meals and has allowed some petting. She just started playing with her too!

Please consider giving Juliet a chance! She has been through so much and would really love to find her new family soon so that she can build trust with them and know that she has found her forever home. She needs a family that understand it will take time to earn their trust and promises it will be worth it. Here are the links to her siblings if you are interested in adopting a pair:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juliet, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
