Hi, I'm Herbie and I'm a two year old Chihuahua/jack russel mix pup! I was rescued from the pound where I was very, very scared. My foster family knew I had tons of potential and brought me home with them to stay for a while. They say I've really started to come out of my shell and have really started to begin trusting people. I love, love, love playing fetch with any toy I can think of! Tennis balls, stuffed animals, and kongs are all things I love to fetch. My foster momma laughs because some of the toys I carry around are almost as big as me! I also really love cuddling with my foster mom and dad and am learning to let other people cuddle me too. I am still working on my trust issues, but give me a few hot dogs and I'll be your new best friend! Because I get nervous of some body handling and fast movements, it's best I go to a home with no children under the age of 10 at this time. I am also working on my housetraining, crate training, and basic good manners. I also live with other dogs and cats but I would do best with calmer dogs who aren't always going to jump in my face, but I'm super great with the cats in the home. I'm looking for a family that will continue to show me that the world isn't so scary after all and will shower me with the love and attention I deserve.
