DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF EMAILS RECEIVED, WE ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF THEM. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, THE FIRST STEP WOULD BE TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO SEE IF A DOG WILL BE A FIT FOR YOUR HOUSEHOLD. AN ADOPTION APPLICATION CAN BE FOUND AT: www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Thank you!

Huckleberry: 3 1/2 mo old jack Russell/lab. This little guy is just perfect! He's so sweet and submissive and affectionate with dogs and people alike. He's very gentle and pretty low energy, amazingly enough! He's up for adoption now ... and is going to make someone a fabulous family member! It doesn't get any better than this! Adoption fee is $200; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huckleberry, a Indianapolis Jack Russell Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
