Courtesy listing for his adopter who can no longer have Bill.. Her young daughter is allergic to him sadly. Bill was adopted from RAIN 3 years ago and is a wonderful kitty. See notes from his current home:

Bill is the best cat! He’s very social and loving and gets along with all other animals and people. He longs to be outside in the sun, it’s his favorite place to be besides on your lap. He’s easy going, lets you brush him and cut his nails (he’ll even let you put caps on his nails). He loves to cuddle under blankets and play with his toys (especially little balls he can chase around the house). Bill currently eats urinary s.o. prescription food because the cat he shares his food with needs it, but he’s not picky and will eat anything…even dog food if it’s left on the floor. I adopted him from RAIN in February of 2014 and his microchip is still registered with RAIN, as I never changed it. He's roughly 5-ish and about 10-12 pounds, he's up to date on shots and has had a full blood panel. I don't have the records but I'm sure I could get them from the vet.

About R.A.I.N. Rescuing Animals In Need

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescuing Animals In Need (Federal Way) and Rain City Rescue (Mill Creek-Snohomish) had been sharing a Facebook and an Adopt A Pet website for years. The two rescue groups have always operated separately, rescued separately and handled their own adoptions and fosters..but it was getting somewhat complicated. Please visit our new web blog at

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have an amazing network of loving dedicated foster homes predominantly in the South Puget Sound area so there is not a physical shelter location. Dogs and cats can be met by appointment only, unless attending an adoption event.

Our Adoption Process...

We require you to fill out our adoption application to help us to get to know you, your living situation and what you are looking for in a pet. It will also help us to make sure the animal that you are interested in it the best fit for you and your life! Once we get the application we can proceed with the potential adoption.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please follow this link to submit online:

It is imperative that you complete the entire application and be 100% open and honest. We do verify information on the application such as residence status, veterinarian reference etc. Only applicants that are best suited for the animal will be considered and will proceed to the next step of the adoption process.

We do adopt to out of state adopters, however, you must travel here to Western WA to pick up your potential new dog or cat. We do not allow any of our animals to fly commercially, be picked up or transported by anyone other than the adopters. It’s important that the dogs and cats are met by the potential adopters in person prior to adoption.
