Kenny (Neutered)'s Story...
"Kenny" is a cute male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 10, 2016 with his siblings (Kyle, Stan, and Wendy) after they were found in Marietta Ohio without their mother :( They were tiny 6-week old babies at that time and have spent their kittenhood in our shelter. "Kenny" has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face. He has a playful, fun-loving personality and dearly loves his siblings. '"Kenny" and his brother "Kyle" are identical twins. "Kenny" was given vaccinations and wormer on October 10, 2016. He was neutered on November 9, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. Two of Kenny's siblings (Stan and Wendy) have been adopted together. "Kenny" and his twin brother "Kyle" are very bonded with each other, so naturally we'd like for them to be adopted as a pair

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenny (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
