Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Freddy is a 5 y/o male who was found NE of Houston. The family that found him notified HBHR when no owners could be located. This 15-inch boy is a slender 30+ pounds. He is fully recovered post treatment for heart worms and is ready for a new family of his own to start the New Year off right!
Freddy has a sweet, reserved nature. He has been house broken since he came to his foster home. He uses the dog door without hesitation, but goes into a kennel with great reluctance. His house manners are excellent, so he has never been kenneled and will need a home where crating is not required.
He joins in with the pack when there is a critter to be hunted down, but plays alone for most of the time. Freddy will entertain himself with throwing a toy in the air and chasing it down. Freddy would be fine with or without a canine companion in his home.
Freddy loves to snuggle up next to you if there is room but content to relax on a dog bed when his favorite human has a lap full! He sleeps on a dog bed through the night. Freddy is a quiet boy and if given enough exercise, would do fine in an apartment or townhouse. Please take the time to check out this wonderful boy. He will make a great addition to your family!
