Natasha's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas, Natasha!

Natasha is about 11 years old. She is around 75 pounds.

She would love nothing more to just be able to hang out and go everywhere with her human. She's a farm dog. She likes to go check out the property with you. She walks great on a leash, but loves to just go wander around the property with you.

She is great with horses and cats. She is great with kids.

Natasha would be okay being the only dog if she had her peeps with her all the time or a couple of dogs.

She loves a comfy bed or sofa to sleep on. She's done with the concrete ...unless she is sunning herself.

Her foster family rescued her and her 5 gorgeous puppies a year ago, and now would just like to hang out with older dogs. She did her puppy time and was an awesome mom! Even though she was kind of a grandmother's age in dog years ! :)

She just wants love and pets and to be combed !

Natasha is spayed-- so no more puppies for her! She's vaccinated and micro-chipped too, house broken as well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Natasha, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
