Samson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Samson's Story...
Samson is a blue merle Great Dane. He was adopted from a shelter 6 months ago, but unfortunately, the family's other dog is being a bully towards Samson, so Samson needs a new home.

Samson is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is good with other dogs, as well as cats. Also good around kids. Samson is playful and needs a home with a yard to run a play. He also needs some training because he doesn't know his own size and previous owner allowed him to jump on people.

If you would like to give Samson a new loving home, please fill out the adoption application on our website. www.pawsofaustin.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samson, a Austin Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Austin, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
