Professor Sinistra's Story...
If you are looking for a petite and genuinely sweet cat who wants nothing more than to be near you, cuddle on your lap and snuggle on your shoulder, then this little girl is perfect for you!
She was found all alone on the streets of Lowell, fending for herself, when a kind Samaritan found her and brought her here to the shelter. Though her background is a mystery, she must have lived in a loving and caring home because of her trusting and gentle nature. Though shelter staff estimate her to be about 12, the Professor is active and agile and would make a purrfect companion for anyone looking for an affectionate new friend. If you spend just a little time with this adorable girl, you'll immediately see how very special she is!! Won't you open your home and heart to this deserving sweetheart, patiently waiting for the next chapter of her life to begin?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Professor Sinistra, a Lowell Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lowell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lowell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lowell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lowell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lowell paves the way for another one to be saved.
