Storm's Story...
Storm is a loving though shy little lady. When first finding herself in a new situation, she has a tendency to sit back and watch to see what will happen. After a bit of time to get used to a new place, Storm is a very cuddly and sociable girl. She enjoys being able to relax and can almost always be found curled up in her bed or snuggling in a ball with one of her sisters. She enjoys being able to cuddle whether it is with a cat companion or with a person that she loves and trusts. If you are interested in adding this lovable, cuddle bug, please fill out an application today!

Note: If you are interested in adopting a pair of cats Storm came in with four sisters. Currently Jean Grey, Rogue, and Jubilee are still available for adoption along with Storm at the City of St Louis Animal Care and Control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a St. Louis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
