Addeline's Story...

Addeline looks like a little grey mouse.  A very CUTE mouse with huge eyes.  She was found in the middle of the road as a tiny kitten and rescued by a good Samaritan.  Addy can be very independent and play and sleep alone or she can be found asleep or playing with one or two other kitties.  While she is a very active kitten she is a very quiet cuddler.  It is unknown how she is with dogs but would probably do fine with a cat friendly dog as she is quick to figure things out.  She loves to sleep on the bed and really enjoys to nap in sheets and towels that have just come out of the dryer.  Addy is a very beautiful blue/gray and white with very soft thick fur.  It is expected she will be a petite girl once grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Addeline, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
