Snow's Story...
Snow is a 2 year old spayed female beauty. Snow is mostly white with black accent and funny pattern on her clown like face. She is a big girl (not fat), with very soft fur, beautiful clear light green eyes. She is graceful and even if sometimes she jumps where she is not supposed to (counter, fridge, desk) - she never knocks things down... how does she do that? She is calm, gentle, loves people and is totally fine with other cats.

She was rescued from an infamous AT RISK list at the local animal control.

she is negative for FIV and FELV, fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snow, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
