Violet's Story...
This is Violet. She was found along a country road- obviously thrown away.  When we found her- she came running right to us and let us pick her up. She was loaded with ticks!! She was also very hungry and tired. She is long haired- silky grey- and very friendly. She loves to curl up in my lap and purr. She is about a year old, has what we believe is a spay scar, and has her first shots. She does ok around the other cats, but prefers to be one-on-one.
Please call Sherrie at 518-506-6036 to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a St. Johnsville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in St. Johnsville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in St. Johnsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Johnsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Johnsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Johnsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
