Keegan's Story...
Keegan is a beautiful kitten with very soft fur of a Russian Blue grey color. He was born around the middle of September 2016.

Keegan is very sweet and gently playful. He loves being picked up and will come to greet you. He is independent as well, but not overactive at all. He is ok with other cats, especially his pals Flynn and Gregory. Although he is used to being around dogs, he is unsure what he really thinks of them.

Keegan has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He will be neutered, fully vaccinated and micro chipped when old enough.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keegan, a Castro Valley Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
