Bootsy's Story...
Bootsy says she most wants you to know that old dogs can learn new tricks! This Rhodesian Ridgeback girl is older but is one of the sweetest on the adoption floor. She came in with an infected jaw due to poor care but received surgery to fix it! Missing half a jaw but that doesn't bother her one bit -- so it shouldn't bother you either! Bootsy is 9-10 years young with lots of love to give her new adopters. Sadly older dogs in adoptions do not get seen because no one sees their value! Well past her puppy years and into the golden years!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bootsy, a Greensboro Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
