Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Can you say handsome?
This is my Merek, a blue Lynx Point Ragdoll kitten, about six months old now. Merek was one of the kitties who was so sick and we didn't think he was going to make it. In fact, you may remember I did a video showing how ill he was.
Merek is now healthy, happy, neutered and ready to go home. He must go to a home with another young cat or kitten. Also, because he spent so much time in a condo when he was ill, he is really only happy when he is with his person. It takes him awhile to warm up to new people, because hey, I was the only person he knew for nearly three months.
He really is a miracle kitten. If you're interested in adopting this miracle boy, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is now in a foster home in Ennis, Texas.
Adoption Fee:$175

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
KITTEN POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
