My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everybody loves Frankie...and we mean everybody! Everyone who has met him has immediately remarked what a cute, sweet boy he is. Frankie is a very friendly, energetic yet cuddly boy looking for his forever family. He is 3 to 4 years old and weighs 18 pounds. He is loving and affectionate with men and women, is instantly playful with other friendly dogs and well mannered around horses. He is neutered and up to date with shots. He rarely barks, even when playing with other dogs or when left alone. He has learned the "sit" command, and is pretty good at responding to "stay".

Frankie loves his walks and isn't shy about asking you to take him out. He does well on a leash and rides well in his crate. He is excited and wants to play when you come through the door at home, but he knows when it's time to settle down. He loves to cuddle with you while you watch TV. He will happily share your bed with you or sleep in his own bed, couch or recliner. Either way, he sleeps through the night and will wait for his morning walk until you are up and dressed, even on those days when you want to sleep in.

Frankie has been observed with cats at his foster home and is remarkably good with them. He is curious and will watch them move about, but highly respectful. He gives cats plenty of space, is never aggressive and wouldn't even think about chasing them! He has been left inside with a cat while his foster people were in another part of the house and proved himself to be totally trustworthy.

Frankie needs to have either another dog around or a human that doesn't work a full work day. He is well behaved when left at home and doesn't chew inappropriate things. He will go to his sleeping place and wait until you return home. Frankie will make a perfect, loving companion for a lucky adopter.

Frankie’s adoption fee is $250. He is being fostered in Santa Rosa, CA

All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
