Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CHARLIE #5 is a 4 year old neutered chocolate male Lab who weighs 95 pounds. Charlie is a handsome and happy boy! He has always lived in the country and enjoys running around and exploring outside. Charlie is very strong and needs regular exercise. He loves to retrieve tennis balls and loves to swim. He will do best with a harness for walks as he does pull because he is so excited to go for walks. Charlie knows the commands: sit, paw, down, stay and roll over. Charlie is good with other dogs. He used to live with two small dogs. Charlie is also good with cats. Charlie will go with an obedience training addendum. From evaluator: Charlie is a big, happy, goofy boy! He is very strong and would do best with a lab savvy owner that will be patient with him and take the time to help him learn manners. Charlie is very food and ball motivated so that will help with his training. He just has pent up energy from lack of exercise. He is a very sweet boy- he gave me kisses all over my face. Owner give up to lab rescue due to owner moving and can't take him. He is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
Update: Charlie is settling well in his new foster home. He is an energetic and VERY friendly boy. He has shed a few pounds since he first came on board and looks to be at an ideal weight of 85 pounds. If you are a jogger, Charlie is a great partner. He is also a good bed buddy and doesn't shed much for a lab! He likes everybody he meets. Charlie needs a home with someone home more than not or needs to go to doggie daycare. He does very well in doggy daycare and gets along with everyone. Like most young pups he will require daily exercise and on-going leash training.
