JAZMINE is a 1.5 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 38 pounds. Jazmine is an adorable, loving , TINY girl! She is a pocket sized lab with lots of love to give. She is a typical youngster and we are working on her manners and teaching her not to counter cruise. She is easy on leash and a wonderful rider. She is house trained and loves her crate. She has been going to work with her foster and does great! Jazmine is good with other dogs. She can sometimes have a little bit of a "napoleon complex" so slower introductions and probably a more submissive dog buddy are best for her. After getting used to them, she is doing great with the other pups at her foster's office. Jazmine is a stray to SPCA. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
Update: Jazmine says don't let her small size fool you - she has LOTS of love to give! Her foster says she continues to be a phenomenal house guest! She stayed with a friend for a few days while her foster had to go out of town and got rave reviews! She has discovered toys and will take each one out of the basket and play with it. She loves to ride and does great at work with her foster. Such a little bundle of joy!
Update: Jazmine continues to be a wonderful house guest at her foster. She goes to work with him every day and just loves hanging out with the people and other dogs at the office. She is an adorable pocket size that fits in anywhere. She is a very quick learner and is eager to please. Rides in the car are her favorite! If you are looking for a sweet, gentle, smart, LITTLE girl, Jazmine is just the ticket!
Update: Jazmine is an unbelievably sweet girl who is quick to learn new things. She is getting better on her leash every time we go walking. She LOVES riding in the car and jumps right in when we go anywhere. She has lots of energy when outside! Loves to play and go after a ball......she even brings it back sometimes! When inside, she just loves to curl up on her bed and chill... She is a perfect size for someone who wants a smaller dog to love forever! She is a bit scared of new dogs when she first meets them but with controlled meetings and time to warm up, she does great. She sometimes goes to work with her foster and is great at the office and with the other employee dogs that come in daily.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound) Adopters must travel to Maryland, Virginia or Washington DC with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.
Lab Rescue LRCP has between 50 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.
If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
