Fussy (adorable!)'s Story...
Fussy got his name because he fussed when he was a tiny kitten. But now he is not so fussy. He is very affectionate and laid back. He loves to play as well as cuddle. He is the purrfect mix and seems to adjust easily to new situations. He is so soft! He has a loud purr and it is so soothing to pet him and he loves the attention. He is one of 7 kittens pulled from BARC with his momma cat when the kittens were only about 10 days old. All kittens are orange like momma except the one female in the litter. He is about 9 months old and can be adopted as a single kitten or with a his brother Speey. If you are interested in this love-bug lap kitten, please contract the group at felinecanienhouston@hotmail.com He is microchipped and fully vetted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fussy (adorable!), a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
