I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Chucho's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chucho's Story...
Chucho is our very special guy who is looking for a very special home! He is about 3 years old and is SUCH a sweetheart and loves everyone he meets. He is great with kids and dogs. He may be okay with a mellow cat but would ideally be the only kitty in the home. You won't be sorry though to have him as your only! This guy will give you tons of love and be your best friend!

We've had Chucho for almost 2 years now and would really like to see him find his forever home. He may be special needs but he is just as deserving of a loving home as any other cat and maybe even more so. You see, Chucho is currently living at our vet's office and has a heart condition which will result in a shortened life. He's on several medications for his heart, none of which are very expensive. He takes his meds like a champ and has a wonderful disposition. He'd like nothing more than to have home for however long he has left. Chucho's condition is slowly and steadily deteriorating but he has lots of love left to give. We owe it to him to find him the forever home he needs and deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chucho, a Chicago Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
