MILEY's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, and not good with kids.

MILEY's Story...
This beautiful 5 year old GSD is 5 years old. She came to us when her owner could no longer take care of her. MILEY is shy and confused by the kennel environment. MILEY is afraid of children and will bark and bark at them. She is OK with some dogs but with others, no. Her ideal adopter would be someone who has some familiarity with this breed and could provide the leadership she needs to become a relaxed and confident dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MILEY, a Indiana German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Indiana, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Indiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
