Lewis is a male Cockapoo/Portuguese Water Dog mix approximately 4 years old. He is a nice medium size currently weighing 22 pounds. Lewis will probably fill out a bit more to reach an ideal weight of 28-30 pounds. Lewis has a curly black coat that is fluffy and soft like a teddy bear. He is non-shedding and has been professionally groomed. Lewis is very gentle, kind, and affectionate. He loves attention and will try very hard to please. He is slow and careful in everything he does, always sweet and always gentle. Lewis is mellow and quiet and will follow you around the house, laying down while you work or do chores. He seems to simply want love. Lewis likes walks, is easy on leash, and he is good other dogs. He is not really playful but he is wonderful company for another mellow canine. He has wonderful behavior in public and is truly delightful to take places since his manners are impeccable. You can depend on Lewis to be sweet and steady. He is good with children, patient and warm. This beautiful dog was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. Lewis has a true heart of gold and is going to make an awesome pet. You will fall in love immediately with his puppy dog eyes and darling personality. Lewis has been vet checked and is looking for his new forever home and family today!
Lewis is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Karen and Family and is ready for his forever home.
Lewis’ adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
