Here's what the humans have to say about me:
******Pending Adoption*********Buddy is a 7-8 month old Golden Retriever. He is neutered, micro chipped, crate trained and crate potty trained. He is a light cream color.
Buddy was purchased from a breeder at 8 weeks, by a breeder. However, it was discovered that he had an undescended testicle, so the breeder than considered him useless. He was left in the kennel with little socialization for the next several months. When Buddy first came to us, he was afraid of anything and everything.
Over the last month, Ty has worked hard with Buddy and he is now really coming out of his shell. He looks forward to handler contact, he is playing well with other dogs, and he is doing well on leash training. He has been neutered, and he is a healthy, happy pup.
Buddy will need an active owner or family, or a yard to play in. His new owner will need to continue his training and socialization, and have patience with him during the first several weeks as he learns to bond and trust.
Buddy is available for public adoption. That means that you do not need to be a Veteran to adopt him. If you are interested in meeting Buddy, please contact Painted Paws for Veterans.
