My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is an approx. 10-11 years old ShihTzu cross and weighs 12 lbs. He sure doesn't seem his age and has nice clear eyes and loves to go for walks. Prince ended up in rescue when his elderly owner passed away and family members could not take him. Prince had now been neutered, vaccinated, had a dental cleaning and is microchipped; his bloodwork is all within normal range and he had no health issues.
Prince is best in a home without other dogs as he likes the one-on-one interaction with his human. He is vocal so a house would be better than an apartment or condo. Prince adores his people and loves going for walks or cuddling. He has been in a home with cats and ignores them for the most part, does not chase or harass them. We do not have any background on him with small children but because they move quickly and can be noisy and unpredictable we feel it would be better for Prince if he was in an adult only home. He loves having someone home with him and does initially bark when left alone but does settle down after some time.

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs.
