Cassandra is a Sheltered Kitty Cat:
adoption date is 9-15-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. As of this month, this kitty cat is still at the shelter & is in need of rescue

Cassandra is around 8 Years old. It was very unfortunate that a sign was placed on the front of Cassandra's cage saying that she might bite. This cat certainly isn't mean, she is just very upset that her owner was put in a nursing home and she was "dropped off" at the shelter. Cassandra is a very large cat who enjoys being able to walk around outside of her cage, stretch her legs and get some exercise. She really starts to purr and happily rolls on the floor when given just a few minutes of freedom. What this girl needs is an owner who will be patient and caring, someone who will feed her an indoor cat food diet which would help in getting Cassandra a "somewhat" sleek cat body shape. Even, fat sometimes cranky shelter cats deserve a second chance!
Cassandra is currently in foster care but will be returned to the shelter for adoption in a week or two.
