My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nyla is a sweet 8 year old purebred Norwegian Elkhound. She is shy, but likes everyone she has met so far. Nyla was reluctantly surrender to Friendship because her family had a change in lifestyle. Her owner says she is house and crate trained. She goes in her crate at bedtime and also goes in on her own when she's tired. She plays with tennis balls and likes bones. Nyla is very casual about cats and friendly with dogs, but she has never lived with one. She enjoys attention. She knows her commands including paw/shake. She likes to relax with you and lay on the couch. Nyla would be a wonderful pal if your looking for a nice companion pet.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
