Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Max's Story...
Max was recently rescued from a high kill shelter abandoned by his family, filthy and scared to death Max was overlooked by potential adopters. We saw his intake picture, tail wagging and knew there was a happy dog that needed out.
Max has been out for 4 days and what an amazing transformation he has made! He knows his name and listens, he plays with the other dogs and doesnt pay any attention to the cat. Max loves to go for walks and is a perfect gentlemen. He would be best suited in a home that is laid back but up for daily walks and play time. Max is crate trained and potty trained too!
If you are interested in making Max part of your family please fill out an application on our website www.sparkrescuesb@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Santa Barbara Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
