Toby's Info...

Toby's Story...
Toby is a gorgeous Pug mix, just a year and a half old and about 28 pounds.  He truly is man’s best friend as he prefers the company of his humans and interacting with them.  Toby has a lot of energy and loves his walks and is good on leash.  He is also an independent little guy so he is not always demanding of your attention.  Toby can get along well with other dogs that are not dominant.  He is not good around cats, however.   Toby was rescued by our sister organization in Mexico and is available for adoption in either Victoria or Vancouver, BC.  Toby has been neutered, dewormed and fully vaccinated.  Now we just need to find him that perfect family!  If you think Toby would be a perfect companion, contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Vancouver Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
