My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Go get Gizzie! She's a 1.5 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix that came in with Trooper and Nellie. Their owner was too ill to care for them so had to surrender them to Friendship. Trooper and Nellie have been adopted. Gizzie was recently adopted too but was found to have a heart murmur. Her new owner could not afford to cover the cost of any medical expenses that may occur in the future so decided to return her to Friendship. She is in good health now but needs to be monitored. Gizzie is fine with small dogs and lived with a cat too. She is house trained and has manners in the home too. Giz would love to find a forever home soon. Her photo was taken when she first arrived. She was very scared at the time.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
