Felix's Story...
Hi, my name is FELIX and I am a 3 year old ORANGE TABBY boy with a touch of white under my chin and on my CUTE chubby cheeks. Recently I found myself in a predicament when my owner had to leave the country and was unable to bring me along. Posh Pets came to my rescue and now I’m in foster care waiting for that special someone to meet me and adopt me as his or her own. Want to know some of my personality traits? I am extremely SOCIAL and CURIOUS. I am NOT shy at all. I adore ATTENTION and I will FOLLOW my person around everywhere. I LOVE to be PETTED and once that happens I will PURR like crazy and even ROLL around on the floor out of pure BLISS. Plus, if you’re on the couch, I will CURL up next to you feeling HAPPY and CONTENT just to be near you. So if you’re looking for a truly GREAT cat, one that is PUPPY-LIKE, then you need look no further! P.S. I would do best as your one and only. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
