Whiskey's Story...
Isn't Whiskey adorable!? She is about 18 months old and is a very submissive and loving girl. She takes time to warm up to strangers and would prefer there to be older children in her forever home. Whiskey doesn't appear to have had the easiest life prior to coming to the shelter, but we are showing her lots of love and helping her to become comfortable. Whiskey seems to do good with most other dogs and did fine with cats at the shelter, as well. She will need her future forever owner to give her patience to adjust but she is well worth it. Whiskey prefers to be in your lap and close to you. She gives kisses and will actually nudge your hand to make she gets as many snuggles as she wants! Whiskey is nervous in her kennel but is a completely different girl outside of it. She is affectionate, gentle, and as sweet as they come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whiskey, a Michigan City Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
